GETTING
TO KNOW ST. LOUIS
How do you introduce
a relocated executive to the community’s business, social, cultural,
and political life when time is a rare commodity?
May we suggest Experience St. Louis? Now in its 18th year, Experience
St. Louis has been a gateway to the community for hundreds of executives
and their spouses seeking an efficient and thorough introduction
to the history, issues, opportunities, and resources of this region.
Designed especially for executives and their spouses who are new
to the region, Experience St. Louis broadens participants’ knowledge
of the community in a short period of time; acquaints them with
the formal and informal decision-making channels in St. Louis; informs
them about the issues facing the region; and challenges them to
become involved in community affairs.
Four evening sessions include a social hour and presentations by
outstanding leaders who impact decisions made in the community,
followed by a delicious dinner. Seminars are held at some of St.
Louis’ most interesting locations. An educational and entertaining
tour of fun and historical sites concludes the program.
FOCUS St. Louis offers this valuable program every fall and spring
in partnership with the RCGA. The fall 2002 session is scheduled
for October 22, 29 and Nov. 5, 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and
a half-day tour on Nov. 16.
The cost is $800 for the executive and $1,400 for the executive
and spouse.
For further information, please request a brochure and registration
form from FOCUS St. Louis, (314) 622-1250 x 102 or e-mail kedrat@focus-stl.org.
