Donohue,
Senator Grassley Join Roundtable Discussion at RCGA
RCGA Chairman John Bachmann led U.S. Chamber of Commerce President
and CEO Tom Donohue and U.S. Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) for
a roundtable discussion of federal issues at a breakfast session
in July at the RCGA. Issues included: the recent successful passage
of pension reform as part of the overall tax bill, as well as other
federal efforts on infrastructure and transportation. Both Donohue
and Grassley praised the role of John Bachmann as a national business
leader, who focused efforts over several years on recently passed
successful legislation dealing with pension reform, which will benefit
small and mid-sized businesses and their employees throughout the
country.
