Developing
Strategic Alliance and Smart Partnerships Between St. Louis and
Malaysia
With the goal of building strategic alliances and smart partnerships
between Malaysia and the St. Louis region, an Investment and Trade
Delegation of about 30 Malaysian companies, led by the Malaysian
Minister of Trade & Industry, will be visiting St. Louis on October
1.
The Malaysian companies represented in the delegation are interested
in meeting with St. Louis-based companies for various business collaborations,
which will be mutually beneficial to Malaysia and the St. Louis
region, such as joint ventures, suppliers, contract manufacturing,
distributorships, technical collaborations, etc.
A luncheon program will be held in conjunction with the visit of
the Malaysian delegation at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown St.
Louis on October 1, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During the luncheon,
the Malaysian Minister of International Trade & Industry, H.E. Rafidah
Aziz, will deliver a special keynote address on business opportunities
in Malaysia. Speakers from The Boeing Company and Monsanto will
also take part in this event. Individual business meetings between
St. Louis and Malaysian companies will be arranged in the afternoon.
