Economic Forecast to be Held Oct. 6

Will the longest-running economic expansion and bull market in
U.S. history wind down in 2001? Four of the country’s top financial
and economic experts will offer their predictions on next year’s
economy at the Civic Entrepreneurs Organization’s (CEO) 13th annual
Economic Forecast on Friday, Oct. 6, at the Regal Riverfront Hotel.
The panel will be moderated by Irving R. Levine, commentator on
the “Nightly Business Report” and former NBC News chief economics
correspondent. The RCGA is pleased to support this outstanding
annual event.
This year’s panel of experts includes:
• Joseph V. Battipaglia, chief of investment policy for
Gruntal & Co., LLC and regular contributor to “This Morning’s
Business” and CNBC.
• Steve Forbes, president and CEO of Forbes, Inc. editor-in-chief
of Forbes magazine and Republican candidate for President until
withdrawing from the campaign in February.
• Charles J. Pradilla, chief financial strategist for SG
Cowen with more than 25 years experience in formulating investment
policy.
• Alice M. Rivlin, senior fellow Economics Studies at Brookings
Institute and former vice chair of the Federal Reserve Board and
director of the White House Office of Management and Budget.
After an opening reception at 11:15 a.m., lunch will be served
at noon and the program will conclude about 2 p.m.
