RCGA Business After Hours
Tuesday, September 14, 1999
The RCGA’s Business After Hours is the place to be for great networking, new business opportunities and an outstanding visit to an interesting RCGA member’s company location or attractive venue. Join other RCGA members and guests this month at the beautiful Piper Palm House in historic Tower Grove Park.
Constructed in 1878, the Piper Palm House is the oldest standing greenhouse west of the Mississippi River, and the most historically significant building in Tower Grove Park. This elegant 19th Century Victorian park is one of only four municipal parks in the country designated as a National Historic Landmark, and is the second largest park in the City of St. Louis.
Recently renovated, The Piper Palm House, with its distinctive architecture, soaring ceiling and stately windows is the perfect venue for any social occasion. Palm trees, ferns and other plants line the building’s original brick walks and surround the six original marble musicians’ busts that once graced the nearby Music Stand. Outside the front doors, you will enjoy the newly refurbished Stupp Plaza, which overlooks beautifully landscaped lily ponds.
Be sure to mark your calendar for what promises to be a memorable RCGA Business After Hours.
