S2TECH NAMES GREEN CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Worth F. Green II has joined information technology firm S2Tech as its first chief operating officer. Green is based in S2Tech’s Atlanta office and will oversee the company’s U.S. operations. Previously, he was a senior vice president for ACS State Healthcare Inc. in Atlanta.

HELLER JOINS SHOW-ME INSTITUTE’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Former circuit judge Robert Heller has been appointed to the board of directors for The Show-Me Institute, a public policy research organization based in the St. Louis area. Heller served nearly 30 years as a Democratic associate circuit judge and retired earlier this year after finishing his seventh consecutive term as Shannon County Circuit Judge.

PRESTON NAMED PRESIDENT OF VANLINER INSURANCE COMPANY

Gale Preston has been named president of Vanliner Insurance Company. Preston has been with Vanliner since 1978 and has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2004.

NAUNHEIM AND CHULICK JOIN UMB FINANCIAL CORP.

David H. Naunheim has joined UMB Financial Corp. as president of commercial banking. He previously served as executive vice president and head of capital markets and specialty lending at US Bank in St. Louis.

W. Thomas Chulick has joined the firm as president of investment and wealth management, overseeing private banking and personal trust services. With nearly 25 years of private banking experience, Chulick most recently served as senior vice president and private client advisor at Bank of America.

MIZZOU ADMINISTRATOR JOINS ST. LOUIS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY AS MARKETING VICE PRESIDENT

Marcus Long has joined St. Louis College of Pharmacy as vice president for marketing and communications. Long spent 13 years at the University of Missouri at Columbia, where he most recently served as director of university affairs.

FOCUS St. Louis has selected officers and three new members for its volunteer board that establishes the organization’s policies. Officers for July 2007 through June 2008 are as follows:

ZVIBLEMAN ELECTED FELLOW IN THE AMERICAN ACADEMY OF MATRIMONIAL LAWYERS

Alan N. Zvibleman, a shareholder in Capes, Sokol, Goodman & Sarachan PC, has been elected as a fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. The academy’s fellows are highly skilled negotiators and litigators who represent individuals in all facets of family law.

YWCA METRO ST. LOUIS HIRES NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Jocelyn Jones has been selected as the new chief operating officer at YWCA Metro St. Louis. She spent 25 years with the Life Skills Foundation, most recently working as vice president of operations and quality assurance.

PARADIS, SCHWARTZ NAMED PARTNERS AT RUBINBROWN

RubinBrown has promoted accountant Linda Paradis to partner in the manufacturing and distribution industry group and SEC services group. She joined the firm in 2003 after working for another St. Louis accounting firm.

Accountant Jim Schwartz has joined the firm as a partner in the tax consulting group. Schwartz, who brings 25 years of accounting experience to his new role, previously served as the practice leader for another St. Louis accounting firm.

BKD APPOINTS TWO NEW PRINCIPALS

Mark C. Holdman and Sean J. Kulczycki have joined BKD LLP as principals. Holdman, who has 30 years of healthcare experience, joined the firm’s healthcare group. Kulczycki has 17 years of experience providing regulatory compliance services to financial institutions.

NEWBERRY APPOINTED TO BOARD OF ENTERPRISE BANK & TRUST

Brenda Newberry, chairman and CEO of The Newberry Group Inc., has been appointed to the board of directors at Enterprise Bank & Trust. She serves on the board’s Regulatory and Compliance Committee.

LATHROP & GAGE ELECTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The members of Lathrop & Gage LC have elected Joel Voran, a 29-year veteran of the firm, to begin a three-year term as CEO. The firm also elected Bill Beck, Allison Bergman and Bill Rudy to the executive committee.

JENNINGS NAMED PRESIDENT OF SSM ST. MARY’S HEALTH CENTER

William Jennings has been chosen as the new president of SSM St. Mary’s Health Center after serving as the organization’s executive vice president/chief operating officer. Before joining SSM St. Mary’s, Jennings was an administrator and chief operating officer for Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Fla.

FAFOGLIA JOINS the COMMERCE TRUST COMPANY

Nick Fafoglia has joined The Commerce Trust Company’s Commerce Capital Advisors group as senior vice president and senior portfolio manager. Fafoglia most recently worked with Bank of America in St. Louis as a portfolio manager and team leader for 15 years.

PAI NAMED PRESIDENT OF MERAMEC CAMPUS

The St. Louis Community College Board of Trustees has appointed Paul P. Pai, superintendent/president of Imperial Valley College in California, to the position of president at the Meramec campus. He began work on Aug. 1. Prior to his four years at Imperial Valley College, Pai served as provost at Georgia Perimeter College in Decatur, Ga., for five years.

ST. ANTHONY’S CFO WINS PRESTIGIOUS MORGAN AWARD

The Healthcare Financial Management Association has awarded the 2007 Frederick C. Morgan Achievement Award to John P. McGuire, chief financial officer at St. Anthony’s Medical Center. McGuire joined the association in 1976 and has served the St. Louis Chapter as secretary, vice president and president.
