BUILDING DESIGN + CONSTRUCTION NAMES CANNON DESIGN ONE OF BEST AEC FIRMS TO WORK FOR

Architectural firm Cannon Design was chosen as a Best Architectural/ Engineering/Construction (AEC) Firm to Work For by Building Design + Construction magazine. Winners of the national competition were featured in the magazine’s May 2007 issue.

“The key to Cannon Design’s success—and what separates it from many other A/E firms of equal or greater size—is the firm’s almost manic passion for professional education,” writes Editor-in-Chief Robert Cassidy. “Under CEO Gary R. Miller, Cannon Design has developed and executed an elaborate continuing education program, in the form of the Cannon Design Academy, which provides in-house and online training and education to the firm’s more than 700 employees.”

The national competition recognizes architecture, engineering and construction firms that excel in innovative recruitment and retention practices, professional development, social and corporate responsibility, workplace environments, and compensation/benefits practices.
