WINDOW | INTERFACE
The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University in St. Louis presents Window | Interface, the second installment in its series Screen Arts and New Media Aesthetics. The exhibition will highlight a variety of artistic projects—including videos, photographs and digital installations—that explore the roles of windows and interfaces as both boundaries and sites of transaction between machine and mind, data and perception, the world of the body and the world of the imagination.

Make Your Reservations for the October EXPERIENCE ST. LOUIS
Program EXPERIENCE ST. LOUIS, a joint program of FOCUS St. Louis and the RCGA, gives an insider’s look at the region to senior-level executives and their spouses who are new to the community. The program, which has welcomed leaders to the region since 1984, enables newcomers to learn quickly what makes our community tick and challenges them to take active leadership roles.
Presenters are experts in their fields. Autumn 2007 sessions are Oct. 16, 23, 30, Nov. 3 (tour) & Nov. 6. The four Tues. evening sessions are from 5:30 to 9 p.m. with a networking hour, followed by a presentation and dinner. The Saturday “Sites and Sounds Tour” is from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Spring 2008 sessions: April 1, 8, 15, 22 & 26 (tour). Early registrations are accepted.

Civic Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) is proud to host their 20th annual Economic Forecast Event. The history of speakers for this event has consistently included some of the nation’s top economic authorities. This year will be no different with featured speakers being Kathleen Camilli, Charles Payne, and Brian Wesbury. The event, which was graciously moderated by Irving R. Levine for the first sixteen years, will be moderated by Mike Jensen who is returning for his fourth year. Each speaker will give a brief presentation and their economic forecast for the coming year followed by questions from the audience and panel discussion.
