ROSS EARNS SILVER BEAVER AWARD FROM BOY SCOUTS

Michael Ross, president and CEO of Regions Bank-Missouri Region, has been awarded the Silver Beaver Award by the Boy Scouts of America. Eight hundred Silver Beaver Awards are presented annually around the country to both men and women who have rendered “distinguished service to youth.” Ross has served the banking industry for 28 years and currently oversees branches in the Missouri communities of St. Louis, Columbia, Cape Girardeau and Springfield.

PETERSON JOINS MILLENNIUM BROKERAGE GROUP

Millennium Brokerage Group, a life insurance distribution company owned by Clayton, Mo.-based Enterprise Financial Services Corp., has appointed John Petersen as vice president of business development. Prior to joining the company, Petersen spent more than 30 years at General American Life Insurance Company, GenAmerica Financial and MetLife Inc. in senior management roles.

Petersen was also inducted into the 2006 GenAmerica Financial Hall of Fame, a peer-nominated award that recognizes leaders within the financial services industry who have made significant professional and personal contributions.

BAKER RECEIVES AWARD OF MERIT FROM ENGINEERS' CLUB OF ST. LOUIS

John A. Baker, senior vice president and manager of the Geotechnical Group for Geotechnology Inc., has received the Award of Merit from the Engineers’ Club of St. Louis for his outstanding performance and contributions to the engineering profession. The award recognizes an engineer’s achievement over the course of his or her career. Baker has worked in the engineering profession for 41 years and co-founded Geotechnology in 1984.

RUBINBROWN NAMES FOUR NEW PARTNERS


RubinBrown has promoted accountants James R. Ritts, Eric A. Janson, Felicia M. Malter and Christopher J. Langley to new positions at the firm. Ritts has been named partner in the firm’s tax consulting services group. Prior to joining RubinBrown in 2004, he worked for two major accounting firms.

Brown Shoe Company Inc. has named Richard “Rick” Ausick as president of its Needham, Mass.-based Bennett Division. He joined Brown Shoe’s Famous Footwear division in 2002 as senior vice president and chief merchandising officer.

The company has also promoted Mark Lardie to senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Famous Footwear. He joined the company as vice president and general merchandise manager in 2005. Lardie previously served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager for Footstar's athletic division.

Jeff J. Sonday has been promoted to senior vice president of finance for Bennett. He most recently served as vice president of merchandising, financial planning and analysis for the Famous Footwear division. Sonday joined Brown Shoe in 1991 as a staff accountant.

Steven J. Landry has been promoted to vice president of the post-loan closing division of Frontenac Bank. Landry, a 10-year veteran of the banking and credit industry, joined Frontenac Bank last year as assistant vice president of loan review.

MURPHY JOINS MIDWEST BANKCENTRE’S CLAYTON ADVISORY BOARD
