Alpha Packaging has promoted three members of its management team to support the company’s plans for aggressive growth. Dan Creston has been named chief operating officer and will focus on the company’s overall sales and marketing efforts. He joined Alpha Packaging in 1987 and has served as executive vice president for the past six years. Gary Seeman has been promoted to chief financial officer and has moved to the St. Louis headquarters. He served as operations manager of the firm’s plant in Salt Lake City since it opened in July 2004. Mike DeFazio has been named vice president of operations and will oversee production and manufacturing at all three plants in St. Louis, Salt Lake City and Brooklyn, N.Y.

Ameristar Casinos Inc. has promoted Jim Franke to general manager of its St. Charles, Mo., property. Franke was the property’s vice president of casino operations and had been serving as interim general manager since December 2004.
