George T. White has been appointed vice president for academic affairs at Logan College of Chiropractic, effective Oct. 1, 2008. Before joining Logan, White was interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at Montana State University-Billings.

St. Anthony’s Medical Center has appointed accountant John L. Skeans vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Skeans most recently served as senior vice president of finance and operations at the Wellmont Health System in Kingsport, Tenn.
LANHAM APPOINTED VP OF THE INTERNATIONAL FACILITY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION’S ST. LOUIS CHAPTER
Grant Lanham has been appointed vice president for the St. Louis chapter of the International Facility Management Association. He was officially installed during the organization’s chapter meeting at the Washington University School of Medicine. Lanham is an operations specialist for Vertegy, a St. Louis-based sustainable consulting firm.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis has selected Martin Leifeld as the new vice chancellor for university advancement. He previously worked as associate vice president for university development at Saint Louis University.
ZAMBRANA WINS 2008 HISPANIC BUSINESSMAN
OF THE YEAR AWARD
Wells Fargo & Company and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) honored Latino business owner Michael Zambrana with the Wells Fargo/USHCC 2008 Hispanic Businessman of the Year award.
Zambrana, owner of Pangea Inc., was recognized at the USHCC Annual National Convention & Business Expo in Sacramento, Calif. He was selected from a nationwide pool and evaluated based on his company’s business performance, innovation, growth, and personal service to the community.
Founded in 1994, Pangea provides civil and facility construction, engineering, surveying, and environmental services to federal agencies and private companies throughout the country. Zambrana grew his business working out of the
St. Louis Enterprise Center, a small business incubator in West County.
“This prestigious award recognizes the work of a Latino who inspires others to achieve success in the spirit of entrepreneurship,” said David C. KPMG SELECTS CARLSON AS OFFICE MANAGING PARTNER
Gerald “Jerry” Carlson has been named managing partner of the
St. Louis office of KPMG LLP. He succeeds Ralph Clermont, who retired from the firm after more than 39 years of service. Carlson joined KPMG in the St. Louis office in 1981 and was admitted into the partnership in 1991.
PULITZER FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS NAMES NEW SENIOR CURATOR
After an international search, the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts has appointed Francesca Herndon-Consagra senior curator. She served as curator of prints, drawings and photographs at the Saint Louis Art Museum before assuming her new position.
