BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Giant Screen Cinema Association has named Doug King, president and CEO of the Saint Louis Science Center, to its board of directors. King began his two-year term in March and is the only representative from a Missouri museum or giant screen entity to be selected for the board.
DURPHY JOINS LAW FIRM AS PARTNER
Thomas A. Durphy has been named a partner in the law firm of Kohn, Shands, Elbert, Gianoulakis & Giljum LLP.
Durphy, who practices in the areas of general litigation and education law, previously worked for SAFECO Insurance Company for eight years as a claims adjuster and manager.
BINGER NAMED TO DANNA MCKITRICK'S EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Ruth A. Binger, a shareholder in Danna McKitrick, has been elected to the firm's executive committee for a three-year term that started January 2008.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAWYER AND MYSTERY NOVELIST JOINS BRYAN CAVE
Intellectual property attorney and mystery novelist Michael Kahn has joined Bryan Cave LLP as a partner. Formerly with Blackwell Sanders LLP, Kahn is a trial lawyer and an award-winning author of novels and short stories, including the Rachel Gold series of legal thrillers.
UMSL CHANCELLOR HONORED BY NORTH COUNTY CHAMBER
University of Missouri-St. Louis Chancellor Thomas F. George was honored with the 2007 Citizen of the Year award from the North County Chamber of Commerce.
"I was truly honored to receive the award," said George. "It speaks to the commitment the UMSL community has for continuing the enhancement of the north St. Louis County area."
George is active in the St. Louis community, serving on several boards including the Boy Scouts, YMCA, United Way, Civic Progress, Regional Chamber and Growth Association, and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
Earlier this year, he received the Distinguished Higher Education Award from the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Missouri State Celebration Commission.
CB RICHARD ELLIS' RANDOLPH HARDIN HONORED FOR DEALS
Dave Randolph and Tripp Hardin, both brokers at CB Richard EllisÑSt. Louis, received awards for their deal-making at the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors' awards banquet.
Randolph, a first vice president at CB Richard Ellis, won the award for most cooperative transactions, completing 10 real estate deals with other SIORs during 2007.
Hardin, senior vice president, won his award in the largest office transaction category. Hardin represented Express Scripts in the lease of 181,870 square feet of space for a second phase of the company's headquarters.

Thomas A. Grewe has joined Bryan Cave in the newly created position of chief legal recruiting and development officer. Throughout his career, Grewe has worked with recruiting, lateral hiring, diversity, and training committees inside law firms.

WEBSTER UNIVERSITY NAMES NEW BOARD OF TRUSTEES CHAIRMAN
Webster University has named Ambassador George H. Walker III chairman of the board of trustees, effective mid-April 2008 through mid-April 2009. Walker has been actively involved with the university since 1974 when he first joined the board of trustees.
The university also selected Mark Burkhart to serve
a two-year term following Walker's appointment. Burkhart has been president and CEO of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker since 1993.
VINARSKY NAMED AMERINET VP
John Vinarsky has been named vice president of executive resources and office solutions for Amerinet. Prior to his new position, Vinarsky served as director of laboratory, diagnostic imaging, and as Amerinet CentralÕs director, clinical services.

Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus PC has chosen Randy S. Gerber as managing director of the firm's St. Louis offices. Gerber also serves as vice chairman of the firmÕs health care practice group.

Sherry Nelson, a registered nurse, has been appointed vice president of patient care services at St. Anthony's Medical Center in south St. Louis County. Previously she worked as chief nursing officer at Sun Coast Hospital in Largo, Fla.
CLAYCO EXPANDS LEADERSHIP TEAM
Clayco Inc. has named Russ Burns president and added four new owners to the firm. Burns, who joined Clayco as interim president in September 2007, has accepted the position full-time and will continue to serve on the companyÕs board of directors. Previously, he spent more than 20 years with Turner Construction, working his way up from field engineer to executive vice president.
The four new owners are longtime employees Paul Giacoletto, vice president of business development and residential business unit leader; Kevin McKenna, regional vice president; Tom Sieckhaus, vice president and corporate facilities business unit leader; and

MCINTYRE NAMED PRESIDENT OF ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE'S WILDWOOD CAMPUS
St. Louis Community College's board of trustees has appointed Pam McIntyre as the first president of the college's new campus in Wildwood. McIntyre, a 22-year employee of the college, had been serving as Wildwood's acting president since February 2007.

FLANNERY TAKES OVER AS CEO OF WOOLPERT
Design firm Woolpert Inc. has announced that Michael R. Flannery, a professional engineer, was named CEO and president, effective Jan. 1, 2008. His career at Woolpert spans nearly 18 years. Flannery is a member of WoolpertÕs board of directors and is also a senior shareholder of the firm.

FOUNDATION AWARD FOR CONSERVATION BIOLOGY
Peter H. Raven, president of the Missouri Botanical Garden, has been granted the Award for Scientific Research in Ecology and Conservation Biology, a 500,000 euro prize, from the BBVA Foundation Awards for Biodiversity Conservation. Raven is a co-recipient with Harold Mooney, professor of environmental biology at Stanford University.
