Diagnostix Enhances Software for Pharmacy Billing

Diagnostix, an Amerinet Inc. subsidiary, has released an enhanced version of AccuPrice, a price-auditing tool designed to help control pharmacy supply spend. As pharmaceuticals represent approximately 23 percent of a hospital’s total supply chain spend, company officials say, pharmacy directors are able to reduce credits and rebills.

Enhancements include statistical, variance and frequency options, all designed to reduce price discrepancies. Since its May 2005 premiere, officials say AccuPrice has reduced price variances 65 percent.
