The Environmental Council serves as a liaison between the St. Louis regional business community and local/state/federal policy-makers and regulators. The primary objective of the Council is to sustain a regulator/regulated dynamic that encourages economic growth and assures protection of the state’s natural resources. The Environmental Council both advocates for, and provides education and outreach to, the business community throughout the region in matters related to environmental laws and regulations.
