WATKINS PROMOTED TO EXECUTIVE VP OF
OPERATIONS AT MIDWEST BANKCENTRE
Henry Watkins was promoted to executive vice president of operations
at Midwest BankCentre. He joined the bank in 2005 as senior
vice president of information systems after owning a technology
and financial services consulting firm.
LIBERMAN JOINS DURRANT
Architect James H. Liberman recently joined the St. Louis office
of Durrant, bringing 25 years of architectural experience in
planning, design, construction and facilities management with
him. His past positions have included serving as chief system
architect/planning director and project director for BJC HealthCare
and project manager for design and construction for Washington
University School of Medicine Facilities Management Department.
HALQUIST JOINS ARMSTRONG TEASDALE
Armstrong Teasdale LLP has hired Bridget L. Halquist as an associate
in the business services department and the employment and labor
practice group. Prior to joining Armstrong Teasdale, Halquist
served for four years as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Henry
Edward Autrey, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri.
KENDRICK JOINS CANNON DESIGN AS VICE
PRESIDENT
Architect James G. Kendrick has joined Cannon Design as vice
president. Kendrick has spent 19 years of experience specializing
in healthcare architecture and previously served as a principal
with Larsen Shein Ginsberg Snyder Architects LLP in New York.
CHARTER ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBERS OF SENIOR
LEADERSHIP TEAM
Charter Communications has named Traci Gerth director of Charter
Business in St. Louis. Gerth has been with Charter Business
for eight years and most recently served as the director of
Charter Business in Ft. Worth, Texas.
Tom Williams has been named director of operations for the St.
Louis area. During his 25-year career with cable companies,
Williams’ most recent position was director of operations for
Time Warner Cable’s Mid-Ohio Division.
FRISBEE BECOMES PART OWNER OF WALTON

Dan Frisbee has joined Walton Investors LLC, a group of seven
other Walton executives, as one of the owners of Walton Construction
Co. LLC. Frisbee, who has 35 years of experience in the construction
industry, opened the St. Louis office for Walton in 2002.

GAINS NEW ATTORNEYS
Robert O. Enyard Jr. and Katherine M. Smith have been named
new associates at law firm Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus
PC. Enyard joined the firm’s science and technology group and
practices in intellectual property. Prior to his law career,
Enyard was a project engineer for McCarthy Construction and
a design engineer for Missouri Gas Energy in Kansas City, Mo.
Smith is an associate in the real estate transaction group,
where she represents developers, owners, municipalities and
other groups in real estate matters.
SONNENSCHEIN EXPANDS PUBLIC POLICY TEAM
Rodney J. Boyd, Kevin D. Gunn and Megan L. Werner have joined
Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP as members of the firm’s Public
Law & Policy Strategies Group. Boyd, who has joined the firm
as a partner, is a St. Louis attorney who practices throughout
Missouri and most recently operated his own government relations
and litigation consulting firm. Gunn previously worked at Blackwell
Sanders Peper Martin LLP, where he headed the St. Louis governmental
affairs practice. From 2003 to 2005, Gunn served as chief of
staff to former House Democratic Leader Rep. Richard A. Gephardt.
Werner has been hired as associate managing director after working
as a project manager for the Regional Business Council in St.
Louis.
EXPERIENCED LITIGATOR JOINS BLACKWELL
SANDERS
Stephen R. Clark has joined Blackwell Sanders in the firm’s
litigation department. He was a shareholder at Polsinelli Shalton
Welte Suelthaus PC from 1999 to 2006, and he will continue to
serve as lead counsel for a national telecommunications company
in a number of statewide tax disputes.
NAGARKATTI, LICHTENSTEIN JOIN BOTANICAL
GARDEN BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Jai Nagarkatti, president and CEO of Sigma-Aldrich Corporation,
was elected to the Missouri Botanical Garden’s board of trustees.
In 1976, Nagarkatti joined what was then Aldrich Chemical Company
in Milwaukee as a chemist and rose through the company’s ranks
to be named president in 2006.
Doris Lichtenstein has been named an emeritus trustee. She and
her husband, David, are longtime friends of the Garden’s family
of attractions and members of the Henry Shaw Society.
BRINKLEY ELECTED TO NATIONAL 4-H COUNCIL
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Cynthia Brinkley, president of AT&T Missouri, has been elected
to serve on the National 4-H Council Board of Trustees. She
served as president of SBC Arkansas from 1999 to 2002 before
being appointed to her current position at AT&T in July 2002.

OF FINANCE
Russell Caplin has joined McEagle Properties LLC as vice president
of finance. Prior to joining McEagle, Caplin was a managing
director at a real estate investment and merchant-banking firm
in Miami.
