WALL STREET JOURNAL RECOGNIZES STEREOTAXIS FOR
TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION


Stereotaxis Inc. was named a runner-up in the Wall Street Journal’s 2005 Technology Innovation Awards, a global competition that honors a broad range of innovations. Stereotaxis earned the recognition in the medical devices category for its cardiology instrument control system.

The Wall Street Journal received 750 applications from two dozen countries for the 2005 awards. The newspaper initially screened applications and narrowed the submissions to 104 semifinalists. An independent panel of judges then rated each entry to select the winners.

NAMED AMONG BEST IN AMERICA

Forty-seven attorneys from Armstrong Teasdale and 32 from Thompson Coburn LLP have been included in the 2006 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, a reference guide of the nation’s top attorneys in 57 specialties.

The Best Lawyers in America guide is compiled through an exhaustive peer-review survey in which thousands of top lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. The 2006 edition is based on more than 415,000 detailed evaluations.

TAIT NAMED ONE OF MOST INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE IN ACCOUNTING


Accounting Today magazine has named Steve Tait, business services president at RSM McGladrey, as one of the most influential people in the accounting, tax and business consulting industry. Tait joined RSM McGladrey in 2003 as president after spending more than 20 years at Gartner Group and Xerox. Under Tait’s leadership, RSM McGladrey Business Services has experienced eight straight quarters of double-digit revenue growth.

A.G. EDWARDS, EDWARD JONES TOP SURVEY OF LEADING FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS


A.G. Edwards and Edward Jones finished in a first-place tie among leading national brokerage firms in a survey of financial consultants, according to Registered Rep, an investment industry magazine. The survey results appeared in the magazine’s December 2005 issue.

Both St. Louis firms received an overall rating of 8.8 out of 10. A.G. Edwards earned a 9.2 for work environment, an 8.6 for support, an 8.7 for product, and an 8.9 for management. Edward Jones received an 8.7 for work environment, an 8.7 for support, an 8.8 for product, and a 9.0 for management.

The publication surveyed at least 70 brokers from each firm through an online survey and phone interviews. Brokers were required to have spent at least one year in production at their firms.
