Bill Bay, a partner at Thompson Coburn LLP, has been named Marketing Partner of the Year as part of the 2005 Thompson Elite Excellence in Legal Marketing Awards. The award recognizes excellence and innovation in law firm marketing. CENTER FOR EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES APPOINTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS
At the Center for Emerging Technologies, James P. Miller has been elected as chairman of the board of directors and E. Desmond Lee and Jeffrey Peterson have also been selected as board members. Miller is managing director at Centocor Inc., a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. Lee is the founder of Lee/Rowan Company and is a St. Louis philanthropist. Peterson is vice president of strategic negotiations in Monsanto’s strategy group.
ARCHS NAMES INTERIM CEO
The Area Resources for Community and Human Services has appointed Laura Lambrix as interim CEO after the resignation of Frank J. Siano. Lambrix joined ARCHS in 2003 as vice president of programs and has more than 20 years of non-profit leadership experience. The ARCHS board is conducting a national search for a new CEO.
