Melanie Blunk and Julie Salamone have joined Conrad Properties Corp.
as general manager and assistant manager, respectively, for the
Metro Lofts apartments, a 213-unit complex in the Central West End.
Blunk has 20 years of property management experience and most recently
served as manager of The Dorchester at Forest Park. Salamone previously
worked in the mortgage department for Enterprise Bank & Trust.

Dixie Platt has been named senior vice president of mission and
external relations at SSM Health Care. She will oversee the company’s
advocacy efforts including public policy and affairs, mission and
communications. In her nearly 10 years with SSM Health Care, Platt
served first as corporate vice president of corporate communications
and subsequently in an expanded role that included planning and
marketing.
PFEIL ELECTED BOARD MEMBER FOR ITW GEMA/ITW
RANSBURG
David Pfeil, president of Fluid-Air Products Inc., has been elected
as a board member for ITW Gema/ITW Ransburg, a division of Illinois
Tool Works Inc. He will serve a three-year term.
COMMERCE BANK PROMOTES LEADBEATER, SCHREIBER,
HOLLABAUGH
Seth M. Leadbeater, John A. (Jack) Schreiber and Gregg Hollabaugh
have been promoted to new positions within Commerce Bancshares.
Leadbeater has been appointed vice chairman of Commerce Bancshares
and will continue to serve as chairman and CEO for the St. Louis
region. Schreiber has been promoted to president and chief operating
officer and market manager of the St. Louis market. He is currently
president of Commerce Bank in St. Louis and will continue to manage
the commercial banking group and the retail group. Hollabaugh has
been promoted to vice president of community market sales administration.

Steven C. Mizell has joined Monsanto Company as senior vice president
of human resources. Mizell has 20 years of human resources experience,
and most recently, he served as senior vice president and chief
corporate resources officer at AdvancePCS.

John J. Temporiti has been named chairman of the Airport Area Redevelopment
Intergovernmental Commission, which will oversee the redevelopment
of approximately 475 acres of land east of Lambert-St. Louis International
Airport. As the appointee for St. Louis County, Temporiti automatically
becomes chairman of the 11-member commission for the first three
years of operations. Temporiti has served as president and chief
operating officer of Vanliner Insurance Company and has also served
as president of Mayflower Vanlines.

William P. McKenna has been elected chair of the Missouri Highways
and Transportation Commission. McKenna, who has served on the Commission
since 2001, is president of Jefferson College and formerly served
as President Pro Tem of the Missouri Senate. McKenna also serves
on the RCGA Board of Directors and is a member of Forward Metro
St. Louis.

PRIVATEBANK ADDS SPRATT AS BANKING OFFICER
Eileen R. Spratt has joined The PrivateBank in St. Louis as a private
banking officer. In her new role, she will be responsible for providing
commercial loan services in the St. Louis market. Previously, Spratt
served as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer at
Heartland Bank.
ALBERICI NAMES HESSER, DAVIS AS CFO, VICE PRESIDENT
Alberici Group has named Greg Hesser and R. Denay Davis to two newly
formed positions. Hesser is now the company’s chief financial officer
and previously served as controller and vice president of corporate
finance. Davis has been appointed vice president of the employee
services group. She joined Alberici as director of office operations
in 2001 and is a former logistics engineer for Ryder Integrated
Logistics.

The Doe Run Company has appointed Steven R. Arnold general manager
of its Buick Resource Recycling Division. In his new position, Arnold
will oversee the operations of the recycling division in Boss, Mo.
Previously, Arnold served as plant operations manager at the company’s
Herculaneum smelter.
