GILLESPIE MOVES TO UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX — ST. LOUIS CAMPUS

The University of Phoenix–St. Louis has named Anne Gillespie as campus director. Gillespie was Campus Director at the University of Phoenix–Pittsburgh Campus for the last two-and-a-half years. Previously, Gillespie was the director of business development for Apollo Learning Group; director of financial aid and national director of business and finance for University of Phoenix On-Line at the school’s home campus in Arizona; and director of accounting and financial services for University of Phoenix in California.

The University of Phoenix–St. Louis operates three campuses: West County, South County and Downtown St. Louis. Originating in 1976, more than 140,000 students have graduated from UOP.

ASTARIS ANNOUNCES NEW COMMERCIAL LEADERSHIP TEAM

J. Tranny Mitchell and Jim Moffatt are assuming new responsibilities in the commercial division of Astaris LLC.

Mitchell joins Astaris as vice president of marketing. He is responsible for establishing the marketing strategy and plans and has direct responsibility for sales in Europe and Asia.

Moffatt has been promoted to vice president of sales, with responsibility for sales in the Americas and for the Astaris operations in Brazil.

Mitchell was most recently head of Marketing and Technology for Dyno Nobel, where he worked for six years. Prior to that he held business manager roles with BF Goodrich and spent 13 years with General Electric Company, in a number of operations and marketing roles.

Moffatt has been with Astaris since its formation; originally as business director and most recently as business development director. Prior to the formation of Astaris, Moffatt worked since 1982 for Monsanto and Solutia.

Astaris LLC manufactures and markets phosphorus-based products for food ingredients, industrial and institutional applications to customers worldwide. Based in St. Louis, Astaris is jointly owned by FMC (NYSE: FMC) and Solutia (NYSE: SOI) and began operations in April 2000.

GRAVES PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT AND COO AT BURNS & MCDONNELL

Following the retirement of Dave Ruf, Burns & McDonnell has named Greg Graves, P.E., as the firm’s president and chief operating officer. Graves is the sixth president of the 105-year-old engineering firm. He joined Burns & McDonnell in 1980. Most recently Graves served as president of the firm’s energy group.

LYONS PROMOTED TO VP AT AMEREN

Ameren Corp. has named Martin Lyons as vice president. He has been controller of the corporation since 2001. Prior to joining Ameren, Lyons served 13 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner in the Audit and Business Advisory Services group.

KUENEKE JOINS FOLLMAN PROPERTIES • ONCOR INTERNATIONAL

Follman Properties • ONCOR International has welcomed Patricia Kueneke as vice president in the firm’s brokerage division. Kueneke has experience in tenant representation; site location and acquisition work in all aspects of real estate leasing and management, with particular emphasis in retail and investment portfolios.

She previously served as Midwest Zone Real Estate Manager for Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation, where she was responsible for new store development in numerous cities as well as disposition of surplus sites.  Kueneke was also Director of Commercial Property Management for Paragon Group for eight years.  She is a licensed broker in the State of Missouri.

KLAESER JOINS PRIVATEBANCORP AS CFO

Dennis Klaeser has been named chief financial officer at PrivateBancorp Inc. and CFO and managing director of The PrivateBank and Trust Company, a wholly owned subsidiary.  Previously, he was a senior research analyst with Robert W. Baird & Co., covering large- and mid-capitalization midwestern banks.

The PrivateBank and Trust currently has banking offices in Chicago, Wilmette, Oak Brook, St. Charles, Lake Forest, Winnetka, and Geneva, Ill., and in St. Louis, Mo.

Cheryl Baughn and Michael Doss have joined the YMCA of Greater St. Louis as executive directors of the Downtown and Edward Jones Family locations respectively. In addition to administering operations of the Edward Jones Family YMCA, Doss will also serve as district vice president for the Northwest YMCA branches. Doss comes to the St. Louis Association from Kansas, where he was CEO of the MCA of Hutchinson and Reno County. Baughn was most recently executive director of the Midway Family YMCA in St. Paul, Minn.
