GRAY DESIGN GROUP ADDS TWO NEW PRINCIPALS

Gray Design Group has expanded its leadership team by naming long-time employees Toby Heddinghaus and Steve Kuhlmann as principals.

Heddinghaus joined Gray Design in 1998 as an associate project manager and served as director of architecture before his promotion to principal. Kuhlmann joined the firm in 1999 as an associate project manager.

REDMOND JOINS ARGENT AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Chris Redmond has joined Argent Capital Management LLC as its first chief operating officer. Formerly he worked as senior managing director of mergers and acquisitions for A.G. Edwards, which was acquired by Wachovia Corp.

BACHMANN AND HOLMES NAMED NEW TRUSTEES

Missouri Baptist Medical Center has named two of the region's top business leaders to its board of trustees: John W. Bachmann, senior partner for Edward Jones, and Michael R. Holmes, executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Express Scripts.

BINGER RECEIVES "LAWYER'S LAWYER" AWARD

Ruth A. Binger, a principal at Danna McKitrick, is one of three recipients of the Lawyer's Lawyer Award in the St. Louis Daily Record's 10th annual Women's Justice Awards. The Lawyer's Lawyer Award recognizes women in private practice who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice or contributing to the betterment of the profession.

STEVE MARSH NAMED CEO OF BANKING DIVISION FOR ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL

Enterprise Financial Services Corp. named Stephen P. Marsh chairman and CEO of its Enterprise Bank & Trust subsidiary, effective May 1, 2008. Marsh previously was president and senior loan officer for Enterprise Bank & Trust. He joined Enterprise Bank & Trust in 2003 as head of its largest banking unit in Clayton, Mo., and in 2006 he was named president.

FORMER NASA CHIEF TECHNOLOGIST JOINS ASYNCHRONY SOLUTIONS

Sam Venneri, former chief technology officer/chief information officer for NASA, has been named the new senior vice president at Asynchrony Solutions. His 20-year career with NASA focused on transforming advanced technology research into practical applications.

LAMBERT HIRES MAYS AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR FOR PLANNING/DVELOPMENT

Lambert-St. Louis International Airport has welcomed Cornell Mays to its executive staff in the newly created position of deputy director of planning/development. Mays has extensive experience in large-scale project design and management in the aviation industry. He relocated from Detroit, where he was an executive with SDGdesign Inc.

GRAYBAR NAMES TWO NEW SENIOR VPS

Graybar has appointed two new senior vice presidents. Richard D. Offenbacher will now serve as the senior vice president—sales and marketing, electrical, and Kathleen M. Mazzarella will fill the position of senior vice president—sales and marketing, comm/data. Most recently, Offenbacher served as senior vice president—sales and marketing, and Mazzarella was senior vice presidentÐhuman resources and strategic planning.

RSM McGLADREY NAMES GERARDI TO EXECUTIVE OPERATING TEAM

RSM McGladrey has promoted Robert Gerardi to chief business process and technology officer. For the past two years, he has served as the firm's senior vice president of total quality management, as well as chief of staff for the corporate marketing organization.

PENN MUTUAL GATEWAY REGION ACCEPTS 2007 LIFE AND ANNUITY PREMIUM GROWTH AWARD

Penn Mutual's Gateway Region received the 2007 Life and Annuity Premium Growth Award, which recognizes the region with the highest percent growth based on production from the previous year. Larry VandeVen, regional vice president, accepted the honor during the 2008 Leaders Conference in Kauai, Hawaii. Founded in 1847, Penn Mutual is the nation's second-oldest mutual life insurer.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY ECONOMIC COUNCIL HIRES VP OF ENTERPRISE CENTERS

Dennis V. Breite has been named vice president of the St. Louis Enterprise Centers. Breite will oversee operations of four enterprise centers (three in St. Louis County and another in the City of St. Louis) and lead the recruiting efforts for new client companies.

LUECKENHOFF JOINS FOX GALVIN AS PARTNER

Fox Galvin LLC has announced that Terry R. Lueckenhoff has joined the firm as a partner. His work experience includes time spent at law firms Blackwell Sanders and Williams Venker & Sanders LLC.

COX JOINS THE VANDIVER GROUP AS VP

The Vandiver Group Inc. has welcomed Lawrence J. Cox as vice president and as a member of the company's executive leadership team. Cox brings 25 years of experience in strategic communications and public affairs, previously working as director of public affairs of DRS Technologies.

BULLARD APPOINTED PRESIDENT AND CEO OF ST. LOUIS FED

James B. Bullard has been appointed president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis by the bank's board of directors. He started his new position on April 1, succeeding retiring president William Poole. Bullard has held increasingly responsible roles in the St. Louis Fed's research department for more than 18 years.

FIFTH THIRD BANK EXPANDS RETAIL MANAGEMENT TEAM

Fifth Third Bank has expanded its retail management team with the appointments of Tony Manisco as senior vice president of retail banking and Ryan Robertson as vice president and retail regional manager.

Manisco and Robertson bring a combined 39 years of retail banking experience to their new roles. Manisco most recently co-led retail operations for LaSalle Bank N.A. in Chicago.

Robertson has nine years of retail banking experience at Fifth Third. He has held numerous roles at the bank, including regional risk and administration manager and interim retail regional manager.

SHANER TO CHAIR REGIONAL BUSINESS COUNCIL'S UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN

Bill Shaner, president and CEO of Save-A-Lot LTD, has been appointed chairman of the 2008 Regional Business Council United Way campaign. In addition to Shaner, five other committee chairs from RBC companies were announced:

BOOK PROMOTED TO VP OF PURCHASING AND FACILITIES AT MURPHY COMPANY

Dave Book has been promoted to vice president of purchasing and facilities at Murphy Company. Book earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1989 from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master's degree in business administration from Washington University in 1995.

COONEY MOVES LAW PRACTICE TO DANNA McKITRICK

John F. Cooney has joined Danna McKitrick PC as the firm's newest principal. During his 25-year career, Cooney has brought more than 75 jury trials to verdict and personally handled more than 25 appeals and dozens of mediations.

FREIN AND HUSTEDT JOIN COMMERCIAL LENDING GROUP AT THE BUSINESS BANK OF ST. LOUIS

Chris Frein and Jon Hustedt, two St. Louis-area commercial lending industry executives, have moved to The Business Bank of St. Louis. Frein has joined the bank as senior vice president in commercial lending. He has 17 years of banking experience, including the past five years as president of Midwest Bank's Chesterfield commercial lending group.

Hustedt has joined the bank as vice president in commercial lending. He has 20 years of banking experience, all in commercial lending, and previously worked at Bancorp South (formerly Signature Bank).
