Signs of Growth
According to revised estimates by the Census Bureau, the City of St. Louis’ population rose slightly in 2003, reversing decades of decline. At the same time, a separate analysis of Census data by the Brookings Institution showed that on a regional basis, the St. Louis metropolitan area is now experiencing net positive in-migration of college educated 25-34 year olds.
