LAMBERT-ST.LOUIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Lambert serves all major cities and provides non-stop service to
102 cities. On a weekday, more than 1,400 flights arrive and depart
Lambert for destinations in Mexico, North America and Europe. Lambert
is the 16th busiest airport in North America. A $2.6 billion expansion/rebuilding
program is currently underway. This expansion will increase the
number of gates from 85 to 105 and add a third parallel runway,
improving capacity in all weather conditions.

MID-AMERICA AIRPORT
Mid-America Airport serves as the St. Louis Region’s second full-service
commercial airport and as a reliever to Lambert International Airport.
Located in St. Clair County in Illinois, it provides state-of-the-art
facilities for passengers, traffic and cargo, including a foreign
trade zone and an adjacent 800-acre industrial park.

METROLINK LIGHT RAIL SYSTEM:
Provides daily service to 44,800 riders, connecting Lambert Airport,
downtown St. Louis and Illinois, and expanding service to Mid-America
Airport, Clayton and Shrewsbury. In 1995 and again in 1999 the American
Public Transit Association named MetroLink the best large transit
provider in North America.
BUS SERVICE
467 active Bi-State buses and 90 fixed routes serve much of the
St. Louis area, providing 38.9 million rides a year, with an average
daily ridership of 108,122.

Third-largest inland port in the United States
The Port of Metropolitan St. Louis is the northernmost point on
the Mississippi River that normally remains ice-free and open throughout
the year and the southernmost point with lock-free navigation to
the Gulf. The Port extends 70 miles along both banks of the Mississippi
and takes in parts of the Missouri and Kaskaskia Rivers. The Port
handles in excess of 32.7 million tons of freight annually.

FACILITIES: More than 100 docks and terminal facilities
SEASON: It is the northernmost year-round ice-free port on the inland
waterway.
