Lunch on Dec. 7. The annual lunch recognizes the contributions

ST. ANDREWS RESOURCES FOR SENIORS ELECTS
ARMSTRONG TEASDALE ATTORNEY AS CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
John R. Barsanti Jr., senior counsel and former partner at Armstrong
Teasdale, has been elected chairman of the board of directors
for St. Andrews Resources for Seniors. He will serve a two-year
term.
HALVERSON RECEIVES HONOR FOR DEDICATION
TO QUALITY PATIENT CARE
The Missouri Association for Healthcare Quality has presented
its Distinguished Quality Professional Award to Eunice Halverson,
corporate vice president of the Quality Resource Center at SSM
Health Care in St. Louis. The Missouri Association for Healthcare
Quality presents the award annually to recognize a professional
in the field of quality management who has demonstrated significant
accomplishments and contributions. Halverson, an SSM employee
for 30 years, has devoted the last 20 years to quality improvement.
DATASERV HIRES NEW VP OF SALES AND MARKETING
Victoria Holmes has stepped into the role of vice president
of sales and marketing at DataServ. In her 20-year career in
technology products and consulting services, Holmes most recently
served as executive vice president of SBS Alliance Group.
DIERBERGS MARKETS NAMES EXECUTIVE LEADERS
Greg Dierberg has been named president and CEO of Dierbergs
Markets Inc., succeeding his father, Bob Dierberg, at the helm
of the family-owned grocery chain. The younger Dierberg has
been executive vice president since 2000. Bob Dierberg will
remain as chairman.
Laura Dierberg Padousis, Greg’s sister, has been promoted from
vice president of corporate development to vice president and
secretary.
As part of the transition, Andy Pauk was promoted to chief operating
officer in addition to his current role as senior vice president.
Pauk has worked for Dierbergs for 30 years and was named senior
vice president in 2000.
MIDWEST BANKCENTRE PROMOTES LEADERSHIP
TEAM
Midwest BankCentre has promoted several executive members to
new positions. Ron Barnes has been promoted from president to
chairman of the bank. Former chairman Frank Ziegler, who has
been with the bank for 45 years, assumes the new role of vice
chairman of Midwest BankCentre. He joined the bank in 1960 and
was named president in 1995.
Jim Watson, formerly regional president of commercial banking,
has been named president. Fred Dyer has been promoted to president
of commercial banking after serving as regional president of
the West region.
LIPSTEIN HONORED FOR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE
TO MISSOURI’S HOSPITALS
Steven H. Lipstein, president and CEO of BJC HealthCare in St.
Louis, received the Missouri Hospital Association’s Distinguished
Service Award. The award is presented annually to recognize
individuals who have made significant contributions to the health
care community, Missouri hospitals and the communities they
serve. He joined BJC HealthCare in 1999.
CBIZ ANNOUNCES NEW HIRES IN ACCOUNTING,
TAX & ADVISORY SERVICES GROUP
CBIZ Inc. announced five new hires in the St. Louis office of
its Accounting, Tax & Advisory Services Group. Martin M. Doerr,
former senior vice president for the May Department Stores Company/Federated
Department Stores, has joined the firm as president.
Fred Lutzeir has been named Midwest vice president in the risk
and business advisory service practice of CBIZ Harborview. Previously,
he was a partner with KPMG’s risk and business advisory services
practice.
Richard W. Hermes, who spent 18 years as the director of property
tax at the May Department Stores Company, has joined the office
as a senior manager.
Victoria A. Baum has been hired as a senior associate. She spent
the past 19 years at the May Department Stores Company, holding
positions that included real estate property tax administrator,
corporate tax accountant, tax assistant, real estate property
tax assistant and tax clerk.
John D. Shoemake has joined the firm as a senior manager in
the outsourcing department. Previously, Shoemake worked as general
manager and chief financial officer at Midwest Equipment Company
Inc.
SISTERS OF MERCY HEALTH SYSTEM NAMES
AUBUCHON SENIOR VP
The Sisters of Mercy Health System has chosen Myra K. Aubuchon
as the organization’s new senior vice president. She joined
Mercy in 1990 and previously served as vice president of strategic
planning.
AMERINET NAMES NEW VP OF PHARMACY GROUP
Gary P. Freeman has been named vice president of the pharmacy
group-purchasing program of Amerinet Inc. He spent eight years
as the director of the pharmacy program for AllHealth Inc. and
brings more than 28 years of healthcare experience to his new
role.
DAHM JOINS REGIONS MORGAN KEEGAN TRUST
AS SENIOR VP
David L. Dahm has joined Regions Morgan Keegan Trust as senior
vice president and manager of the retirement services area in
the Belleville, Ill., and Clayton, Mo., offices. He started
his 23-year career at the former Magna Trust Company in Belleville,
which is now part of the Regions organization.
SUMNER JOINS NEWGROUND AS VP OF CONSULTING
NewGround, a design/build and retail services firm for the financial
industry, recently hired Paul Sumner as vice president of consulting.
Prior to joining NewGround, Sumner worked as a product marketing
manager for Charter Communications.
WICKENHAUSER JOINS Q10 TRIAD CAPITAL
ADVISORS
Jim Wickenhauser has joined Q10 Triad Capital Advisors as vice
president. Wickenhauser received his bachelor’s degree in accounting
from the University of Missouri at St. Louis in 2004.
CANNON DESIGN NAMES TURNER PRESIDENT
Architect M. Kent Turner, principal at Cannon Design, has been
promoted to the newly created position of president, North America.
He has been regional director of the Midwest region for the
past 13 years.

JUAN NAMED VP OF PRECONSTRUCTION AT
GUARANTEE
Guarantee Electrical Company has promoted Stephen C. Juan to
vice president of preconstruction. He spent 17 years in the
electrical construction industry, including three years with
Guarantee. Juan returned to Guarantee in 2006 after serving
as vice president and part owner of RJP Electric for 10 years.
MAYHEW NAMED MCKENDREE VP FOR ADMINISTRATION
AND FINANCE
Sally Mayhew has been named vice president for administration
and finance at McKendree College. She served as the interim
vice president for the previous four months, and prior to that
was assistant vice president for administration and finance.
ART JOHNSON NAMED AAA PRESIDENT
Johnson is now the president and CEO of AAA, the century-old
organization that provides a range of travel, automotive and
insurance services to its members.
Johnson becomes the 19th president of the organization, which
was founded in 1902. A 20-year veteran of AAA, Johnson was promoted
from his position as executive vice president to replace retiring
Ken Johnson, no relation, who served as president of the Club
for the last 16 years.
ARMESTO JOINS BLUMENFELD, KAPLAN & SANDWEISS
Castor J. Armesto has joined Blumenfeld, Kaplan & Sandweiss
PC as an associate attorney in the mergers and acquisitions
practice group. He received his law degree from Washington University
School of Law in 2006.
GOSS APPOINTED EXECUTIVE VP AND CFO
AT WESTAR AEROSPACE & DEFENSE GROUP
Westar Aerospace & Defense Group Inc. has announced that William
E. Goss has joined the company as executive vice president and
chief financial officer. He previously served as senior vice
president and chief financial officer at Affiliated Computer
Services’ IT Outsourcing Group.
HAYNES ELECTED MHA 2007 CHAIRWOMAN-ELECT
Crystal L. Haynes, CEO of Saint Louis University Hospital, was
voted 2007 chairwoman-elect of the Missouri Hospital Association’s
board of trustees. Haynes’ term began Jan. 1, and she will take
over as chairwoman in 2008.
WALTON CONSTRUCTION NAMES TWO NEW VPS
OF OPERATIONS
Walton Construction has promoted Steve Biederman and Dan Hunyar
to vice president of operations. Both Biederman and Hunyar have
34 years of experience in the St. Louis construction industry
and have been with Walton Construction for four years.
