OGLETREE DEAKINS WELCOMES GARLAND

NICHOLSON NAMED PRESIDENT OF ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR

At Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Chief Operating Officer Pamela M. Nicholson has been named president. She succeeds Donald L. Ross, who will continue as vice chairman. Nicholson joined the company in 1981 as a management trainee.

BERRA AND REED APPOINTED TO MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Lewis, Rice & Fingersh LC has announced that lawyers Thomas P. Berra Jr. and Winthrop B. Reed III have been appointed to the firm’s management committee. Both men work in the litigation department.

BURCHFIELD LEAVES SAINT LOUIS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA FOR KETC/CHANNEL 9

KETC/Channel 9 has appointed Nancy Burchfield director of major and planned giving. She joins Channel 9 from the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra, where she worked since 2001 in development, most recently for five years as the director of major gifts and planned giving.

The station also promoted Craig Palmer to director of foundation support and hired Kathleen Blomberg as corporate accounts manager, Lauren Tucker Huber as corporate support coordinator, and Heather Hope as major and planned giving coordinator.

TRI-CITY REGIONAL PORT DISTRICT ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

The Tri-City Regional Port District’s board of commissioners elected the following new officers at its annual meeting in September: Ed Hagnauer, chairman; Dr. Charles King Jr., treasurer; and Joseph Schuler, secretary.

In addition, several board members were re-appointed, including Bob Wydra as executive director, John Papa as legal counsel, and Charles Juneau as port engineer.

PRATT NAMED VP OF MEDICAL AFFAIRS AT SSM ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL OF KIRKWOOD

SSM St. Joseph Hospital of Kirkwood has named Dr. Timothy Pratt full-time vice president of medical affairs. Pratt will serve as a physician advocate for St. Joseph Hospital as it makes the transition to becoming SSM St. Clare Health Center. Certified in internal medicine and geriatrics, Pratt practices at Kirkwood Medical Group and has served on the St. Joseph staff since 1991.

UMB’S RUPP RECOGNIZED FOR SUCCESS IN PROMOTING MISSOURI ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Scott Rupp, vice president of business development at UMB Financial Corp. and a Missouri state senator, has been recognized by The National Coalition for Capital for his ongoing efforts to promote economic development in Missouri. Rupp was honored for his leadership role in several key legislative efforts created to foster capital investment in traditionally underserved regions across the state.

BRYAN CAVE NAMES TWO NEW OFFICERS

Terry E. Brummer has joined Bryan Cave LLP as chief operating officer. Brummer’s career in law, finance and management includes time spent with the tax department of Alexander Grant and Co. in Chicago and as director of the Missouri State Public Defender System.

Also at Bryan Cave, Connie O. Hoffman has been promoted to chief information officer. She joined the firm in 2002 and most recently served as director of the client technology group.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY ECONOMIC COUNCIL HIRES VP OF REAL ESTATE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Timothy M. Tucker has been named vice president of real estate and community development for the St. Louis County Economic Council. His work experience includes serving as president of Blue Urban Kansas City operations and managing economic development projects at Trailnet Inc., Historic Restoration Inc. and International Building LLC.

PARIC SELECTS NEW PRESIDENT OF INTERIORS GROUP

Cyril Narishkin has been named president of Paric’s Interiors Group. Narishkin joins Paric with extensive experience growing profitable businesses at organizations such as Essex Industries and Texas Instruments.

FIORELLO NAMED FIRST PRESIDENT OF NEW BIO-RESEARCH PARK

Sam Fiorello has been named the first president of the new Bio-Research & Development Growth Park at the Danforth Plant Science Center. He will continue to serve as chief operating officer and senior vice president for administration and finance. Fiorello joined the center nine years ago.

MAVERICK TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES TWO PROMOTIONS

Columbia, Ill.-based MAVERICK Technologies has promoted Jim Ford, formerly the director of advanced automation solutions, to director of strategic initiatives for the global business unit.

Chad Harper, formerly staff APC engineer, is now manager of advanced automation solutions for the global business unit.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Institute for Renewable Fuels at the Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis has named Richard Sayre, a biofuel researcher, as its director.

STONE CARLIE PROMOTES JOHNSON TO PRINCIPAL

Stone Carlie & Company LLC has promoted Mark C. Johnson to principal in the assurance services department. Johnson is a certified public accountant who has served as a senior manager in the assurance services department for three years.

BERRY JOINS PEOPLES NATIONAL BANK

Clifton D. Berry has been named Community Bank President for St. Louis for Peoples National Bank. His experience includes investment banking sales, commercial real estate lending, loan administration, and branding and management for a fortune 50 financial services company operating in the secondary market.

WARNER PROMOTED AT NATIONAL CITY

The private client group at National City Corp. has appointed David Warner to vice president and client advisor for St. Louis. Warner joined National City in 2005 as a credit analyst in corporate banking and later became a business banking officer.

RANDALL CHOSEN TO LEAD ST. ANTHONY’S CHARITABLE FOUNDATION

Jeff Randall has been appointed executive director of St. Anthony’s Charitable Foundation at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County. He has worked for 20 years in the development field, most recently as the divisional development director at the Salvation Army Midland Division.
