ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Roger N. Beachy, president and director of the Donald Danforth
Plant Science Center in St. Louis, has joined Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s
board of directors. He also serves as a professor in the department
of biology at Washington University in St. Louis.
NEW MOBILITY COMMANDER NAMED AT SCOTT
AIR FORCE BASE
Gen. Arthur Lichte assumed command of the Air Mobility Command
on Sept. 7 during a ceremony at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.
Lichte previously worked at the Pentagon as the assistant vice
chief of staff for the Air Force.
ALLEN NAMED REGIONAL VP OF COMMUNICATIONS
AT AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION
Deborah Allen has been named regional vice president of communications
and marketing for the Midwest affiliate of the American Heart
Association. During her career, she has worked in corporate
communications at Edward Jones and in community relations at
the Missouri Department of Transportation.
ST. LOUIS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY HIRES
NEW VP FOR ADVANCEMENT
Brett T. Schott has been named vice president for advancement
at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Schott joins the college
after six years with the Saint Louis Art Museum as director
of development.
PARENTS AS TEACHERS NATIONAL CENTER
NAMES CRAIG CFO
Accountant Tammy Craig has been selected by the Parents as Teachers
National Center as the organization’s new chief financial officer.
Craig joins the national nonprofit with more than 20 years of
experience in the accounting industry. Previously she served
as business manager for FlightSafety International Inc. in St.
Louis.
FIFTH THIRD BANK ST. LOUIS NAMES DODSON
VP AND COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Traci Dodson has been named vice president and relationship
manager of the commercial group at Fifth Third Bank St. Louis.
She brings 20 years of banking experience to her new role, most
recently serving as vice president of corporate banking for
First Bank in St. Louis.
CISSELL MUELLER COMPANY SELECTS CARIFFE
AS VICE PRESIDENT
Louis Cariffe Jr. has joined Cissell Mueller Company LLC as
vice president. He has 32 years of experience in the real estate
industry.
BRODERICK JOINS PROLOG VENTURES AS PARTNER
Prolog Ventures, a venture capital firm specializing in life
science investments, has hired Dan Broderick as its fourth partner.
Before joining Prolog, Broderick served as a managing director
at Mason Wells in Milwaukee.
MIDCOAST AVIATION WELCOMES MADSEN AS
SENIOR VP OF OPERATIONS
Skip Madsen has joined Midcoast Aviation as senior vice president
of operations. Madsen previously worked as vice president and
general manager at Hawker Beechcraft Service.
MANTIA RETURNS TO PRIDE OF ST. LOUIS
Dick Mantia has returned to PRIDE of St. Louis Inc., a construction
industry organization that he helped co-found 35 years ago,
as board member emeritus. He served as executive secretary-treasurer
of the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO,
from 1972 to 1992.

CHAPTER OF INTERNAL AUDITORS
Ted Flom, a member of Brown Smith Wallace LLC, has been elected
president of the St. Louis chapter of The Institute of Internal
Auditors for the 2007-2008 membership year. He co-leads Brown
Smith Wallace’s risk services practice with 17 years of experience
providing audit and business advisory services.
VANDIVER VOTED PRESIDENT-ELECT OF PINNACLE
WORLDWIDE
Donna Vandiver, president and CEO of The Vandiver Group Inc.,
has been named president-elect of Pinnacle Worldwide for a two-year
term that started on Sept. 1. She will become president in 2009.
CASTELLANO JOINS ESSE HEALTH AS CEO
Esse Health has selected Michael A. Castellano as its new CEO.
For the past seven years, Castellano has served as executive
director and chief operating officer of Evans & Dixon LLC.
HOLMES NAMED EXECUTIVE VP OF FIRST BANKS
Robert S. Holmes has been appointed president and CEO of First
Bank and executive vice president of First Banks. Previously,
he worked at LaSalle Bank as group senior vice president of
the regional commercial banking operation.
FUNK PROMOTED TO PRINCIPAL AT ARCTURIS
Kari Funk has been promoted to a principal of Arcturis architectural
design firm.
AMERICAN RED CROSS ST. LOUIS AREA CHAPTER
ELECTS NEW BOARD CHAIRS
The American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter announces that
Vivian M. Luce has been elected to serve a two-year term as
chairwoman of the board of directors. Luce, vice president of
business development for Cejka Search, is a 30-year Red Cross
volunteer.
GLICK MOVES LAW PRACTICE TO DANNA McKITRICK
Thomas G. Glick has joined law firm Danna McKitrick PC as its
newest principal. He has a strong background in private legal
practice and serves clients in all aspects of probate and trust

DEE JOINS FIFTH THIRD BANK ST. LOUIS
At Fifth Third Bank St. Louis, Jeff Dee has been appointed vice
president and commercial relationship manager of the bank’s
commercial group. Before taking on his new role, Dee served
as vice president and team leader in the business banking division
of Commerce Bank N.A.
VETERAN LITIGATOR JOINS POLSINELLI
Litigator Keith J. Grady has joined Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan
Suelthaus PC as chairman of the firm’s intellectual property
litigation practice group. He brings to the firm 18 years of
combined experience in government and private law practice.
BIEDERMAN PROMOTED TO PRESIDENT OF WALTON
CONSTRUCTION ST. LOUIS
Steve Biederman has been promoted from vice president of operations
to president of Walton Construction St. Louis. He has 35 years
of construction experience and has been with Walton for five
years.
HUNTER JOINS NATIONAL CITY PRIVATE CLIENT GROUP
National City has hired Linda K. Hunter as a vice president
and private banker in its private client group. Previously,
she served as a branch manager of the bank’s Lindbergh/Ladue
location.

LOUIS OFFICE
CB Richard Ellis named Jeffrey C. Kaiser as vice-president of
office properties in the St. Louis office.
Kaiser joined CBRE in 2000 as an office properties specialist.
Prior to joining CBRE, he held various positions with McCarthy
Construction. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
from the University of Illinois-Champaign.
KINZ JOINS ARMSTRONG TEASDALE
Robert B. Kinz has joined law firm Armstrong Teasdale LLP as
a partner in the corporate services group. He has served as
legal counsel or financial advisor in more than 40 mergers,
acquisitions and joint venture transactions.
McKEEHAN ELECTED TO THE ILLINOIS DEVELOPMENT
COUNCIL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Patrick McKeehan, executive director of the Leadership Council
Southwestern Illinois, has been elected to the Illinois Development
Council’s board of directors. A certified economic development
professional with 21 years of experience, McKeehan was hired
as executive director of the Leadership Council Southwestern
Illinois in 2006.
