Folk art collectors John and Teenuh Foster have assembled a large group of photographs from forays to antique shops and flea markets.
Over 50 photographs have been selected from hundreds, the bulk of which are shown in their original small snapshot format.

Hike the majestic grounds and experience America’s second most popular hobby: birding. WBS’ Wildlife Experts lead the tours and discuss birding basics and how to spot and identify many diverse species.

HELPING SAVE ELEPHANTS IN INDONESIA

The Zoo partnered with International Elephant Foundation (IEF), Flora and Fauna International (FFI) and others to help conserve the endangered Asian elephants of Sumatra. Speaker, Dr. Wahdi Azmi, CRU Project Manager at FFI and a native of Indonesia manages a multi-faceted program developed to help Asian elephants in Sumatra. Using patrol teams of forest rangers, locals and elephants, this initiative monitors and protects the wild populations of Asian elephants, while also improving the care and welfare of 23 captive elephants.
