Wrap up 2001
at a very exciting RCGA Business After Hours, which features the
drawing for the best RCGA networker of the year.
The Sheraton
St. Louis City Center Hotel & Suites is the “new kid on the block”
in the hospitality industry in downtown St. Louis. Just opened in
July, the Sheraton St. Louis City Center Hotel & Suites is housed
in the landmark Edison Brothers Warehouse building, located at 14th
Street and I-64/Hwy.40. The building is now listed on the National
Register of Historic Places and was transformed by a $66 million
renovation as a unique combination of hotel accommodations and luxury
condominiums. Each of the 288 over-sized guest rooms at the Sheraton
City Center is tastefully appointed in traditional furnishings,
complete with wet bar, refrigerator, Internet access, and a queen-size
sleeper sofa, to name just a few of the amenities.
Food and beverage outlets at the Sheraton include an upscale diner,
Willie & Wally’s, a 10,000-square-foot sports bar, Jacques, and
a sophisticated club-style cocktail lounge, Columns. Two ballrooms
are part of the 15,000 square foot of banquet and meeting space
available for events of all kinds. The Sheraton also offers the
city’s only Olympic-sized swimming pool, complete with a panoramic
view of the downtown cityscape from the outdoor sundeck on the 13th
floor. The hotel’s location across the street from the Kiel MetroLink
station and just one block from the Savvis Center offers the perfect
location for St. Louis visitors, whether in town for business or
pleasure.
