Laurna C. Godwin have been elected chairwoman of the board of directors for the Girl Scout Council of Greater St. Louis. Godwin is a partner and co-founder of Vector Communications Corp. and a three-time Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist. The council also elected Katie S. Fischer as vice chairwoman of corporate planning and Deborah S. Grossman as vice chairwoman of finance. Fischer is vice president of global marketing for Bank of America. Grossman is associate general counsel for Monsanto Company.

AMERINET NAMES NEW LEADERSHIP


Amerinet’s board of directors has appointed new officers to lead the company. Victor E. Samolovitch has been named CEO. Samolovitch served as president of Amerinet Central before taking over his new position on June 1. Todd Ebert, former president of Amerinet, has been named president and chief operating officer.

CANNON DESIGN NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENTS, HIRES NEW ARCHITECT

Cannon Design has named architects Richard Bacino and David M. Polzin as vice presidents. Bacino has 12 years of experience as a project architect and manager. He has worked on a number of projects for the Fort Zumwalt School District in St. Louis. Polzin joined the firm in 1998 and is currently working on major additions and renovations to Saint Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis.

The firm also has hired Stephen Myers as an architect and senior associate. Myers, a LEED-accredited architect, has experience working on Cox Health Systems in Springfield, Mo., and St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis.
