“THE ROAD AHEAD IN THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERRORISM”
Brigadier General Susan Lawrence, United States Army – Central
Command, Tampa, Fla. will detail Central Command’s role in the war.
She serves as the military’s “chief information officer,” responsible
for voice, data, and information communications for the theater
of operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa. She recently
returned from a tour of duty in Iraq and will present her experiences.
Brigadier General Lawrence received the Defense Superior Service
Medal and the Legion of Merit award from the U.S. Army.
