Patrick J. Murphy Jr. has been promoted to president of Murphy Co., a St. Louis-based mechanical contractor. He worked as senior vice president of sales and marketing since 2002 and has served on the company’s board of directors since 2000. He succeeds James J. “Jim” Murphy Jr. as president.

ROBINSON NAMED TO MISSOURI BANKERS ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE

Kamesha Robinson, a loan administrator at Frontenac Bank, has been appointed to the Missouri Bankers Association’s Women Bankers Committee for 2005. She is one of only 20 women in the state invited to sit on the committee. Her duties will include organizing the semiannual conference for women bankers in Jefferson City.

CIGNA HEALTHCARE APPOINTS NEW ACCOUNT EXEC
FOR ST. LOUIS


Ken Lanter has been named senior account executive for CIGNA HealthCare in St. Louis. Lanter is an 18-year veteran of sales and account management, provider relations and contracting management for CIGNA. Most recently he served as senior sales executive for CIGNA’s sales team in Chicago.

Floyd Zimmerman has joined Woolpert Inc.’s St. Louis office as a senior landscape architect in the planning and design group. He has more than 35 years of experience on projects in North America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Europe and the Middle East.

Elizabeth Witt has joined Woolpert’s transportation group as an engineer in the firm’s Fairview Heights, Ill., office. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and had worked at Woolpert as a summer intern for three years.

OLSON ELECTED TO PROFESSIONAL COUNCIL

Gary R. Olson, president and CEO of St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Mo., has been elected to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives. As a regent, Olson will serve as the link between the college and its affiliates by approving governance and membership regulations. He joined St. Luke’s in 1978 as an associate administrator.

Leonard Toenjes, president of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis, is the new chairman of the Associated General Contractors of America’s Executive Leadership Council. During his one-year term, he will represent one hundred local chapters as a member of the association’s executive committee. Toenjes has been president of the St. Louis chapter since 1996.

HOK ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS

At architectural firm HOK, Yvonne K. Foucher has been promoted to vice president and Andrew Molchany has been named an associate. Both are members of the firm’s science and technology group.

FITCH, SWAN JOIN MOHELA BOARD


Dr. Gregory Fitch and Kathryn Swan are the newest members of the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority Board of Directors. Fitch has been the commissioner of higher education for the state of Missouri since January and previously served as the founding president of the Utah College of Applied Technology. Swan was reappointed to the coordinating board for higher education in January by Gov. Matt Blunt. She is the president and owner of JCS/TEL-LINK, a wireless communications company in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

ESSLINGER NAMED VICE PRESIDENT OF CLAYCO

Perry Esslinger has joined Clayco as vice president. He has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry and most recently served as senior vice president of operations for Alberici Constructors in St. Louis.

HANNEKEN APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF PREMIER BANK ST. CHARLES

Richard K. Hanneken has been named president of Premier Bank’s new St. Charles Banking Center. He has more than 22 years of banking experience and has worked for Premier Bank as senior vice president of commercial lending since April 2004. In addition to taking responsibility for overall management of the banking center, Hanneken will also serve as the senior commercial lending officer.
