Sandy Stoner has joined Regions Financial Corp. to lead commercial real estate for the greater St. Louis region. Stoner previously has worked as Midwest regional head for LaSalle Bank and as senior vice president and commercial real estate lender of First Bank.
PEABODY ENERGY SELECTS NEW PRESIDENT
Richard A. Navarre has been named president and chief commercial officer of Peabody Energy. He has been chief financial officer since 1999 and will continue in that role until a successor is named.

AT UNITED WAY
United Way of Greater St. Louis has promoted Orvin Kimbrough from vice president of major gifts to senior vice president of major gifts and planned giving. He joined the organization in January 2007.
GIRL SCOUTS OF EASTERN MISSOURI HIRES PINKSTON
Leslie Pinkston has been selected to serve in the newly created role of chief operating officer for Girls Scouts of Eastern Missouri. Pinkston's background includes stints as the director of business development and client relations for Swanson Communications in Washington, D.C., and as the director of university event services for Saint Louis University.

David Weber has been named interim president and CEO of Grace Hill Settlement House after Theresa Mayberry stepped down from the position after nearly five years of service. Weber served as the organization's chief operating officer for the past two years.

In an effort to provide its members with increased representation, SITE Improvement Association has created two new member divisions and appointed four new board members to represent them.

SCOTTRADE BANK EXPANDS MANAGEMENT TEAM
George Horn and Rodney Stanley have joined the management team at Scottrade Bank.
Horn will serve as senior vice president and oversee banking operations. Previously he was the executive vice president of treasury management services and operations for UMB bank.
Stanley is the bank's executive vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to joining Scottrade, Stanley was the chief investment and risk officer at Reliance Bank.

Rainer W. Bussmann, an ethnobotanist, vegetation ecologist and conservationist, has joined the Missouri Botanical Garden staff as the director and curator of the William L. Brown Center for Plant Genetic Resources.

William M. Corrigan Jr., a partner at Armstrong Teasdale LLP, has been reappointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to serve another three-year term as president of the board of trustees of The Missouri Bar.

JOINS FIRST NATIONAL BANK AS VP
First National Bank of St. Louis has hired Missouri State Sen. Tom Dempsey as vice president. Dempsey, who was elected to the Senate in a 2007 special election, will be focusing on new business development for the bank. Before joining the Senate, Dempsey was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives for four terms.
REID JOINS MIDCOAST AS
VP OF ENGINEERING
Brian Reid has joined Midcoast Aviation as vice president of engineering. Reid comes to Midcoast from Associated Air Center, where he most recently served as vice president of engineering, certification and interior design.
AMERINET ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE CHANGES
Todd C. Ebert has been named president and CEO of Amerinet. He served as the organization's president and chief operating officer since June 2006. Ebert joined Amerinet in 1991 from Intermountain Healthcare.
Michael Costabile has been named the new chief financial officer. He is replacing outgoing CFO Noel Knobloch, who is retiring in June after 20 years of service. Prior to his new position, Costabile worked as the president of Amerinet Central, one of two investor owners of Amerinet.
HAINES NAMED MANAGING EDITOR OF PHYSICIAN'S BRIEFING
Dr. Cindy Dennison Haines has been named managing editor of HealthDay's Physician's Briefing, a daily news service for health and medical professionals. She is a staff physician at St. John's Mercy Medical Center and an assistant clinical professor at Saint Louis University's School of Medicine in the department of community and family medicine.
BOTANICAL GARDEN ELECTS FOUR NEW TRUSTEES
W. Stephen Maritz, Laura Reeves, Mary-Randolph Ballinger and Cynthia Peters were elected to the Missouri Botanical Garden's board of trustees
in December.
Maritz, chairman and CEO of Maritz Inc., will serve a four-year term on the garden's executive committee.
Reeves is senior director for corporate giving, vice chairman of charitable contributions and assistant secretary to the board for Anheuser-Busch Companies.
Ballinger began her volunteer leadership association with the garden by serving on its members board.
Peters is an active community volunteer who has served on the boards of many local organizations, educational institutions and cultural attractions.
