1ST ANNUAL WINGS OF SPRING CONFLUENCE BIRDING FESTIVAL
A partnership of organizations within the Confluence Greenway is spotlighting birding opportunities where the great rivers meet. The Mississippi Flyway is a nationally significant migratory flyway, rich in habitat and species diversity. Visitors can expect to see land-based and water-based species in addition to shorebirds.
Based at Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary near Alton, Ill., the event will include programs and activities for all levels of birding interest including educational programs, speakers, vendors, on-site tours of migratory shore birds and guided birding tours at other Confluence sites.

"MONET IN THE 20TH CENTURY"
A one-gallery installation focusing on the late paintings of the celebrated Impressionist artist Claude Monet. Visitors are encouraged to view this installation in concert with the featured exhibition “Impressionist Camera: Pictorial Photography in Europe, 1888-1918.” “Impressionist Camera” will be on view through May 14 in the Museum’s Main Exhibition Galleries.

Offered in partnership with the RCGA. Experience St. Louis is an opportunity for executives and spouses who are new to the area to get an insider’s look at the region.
Four consecutive Tuesday evening sessions, from 5:30-9 p.m., and the Saturday tour is from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Weeknight gatherings consist of a social hour, followed by a presentation and dinner.

BIO 2006 ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION
The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) will hold its BIO 2006 Annual International Convention for the first time in the Midwest at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center. Over 20,000 biotech executives, investors, journalists, policy makers and scientists from more than 60 countries are expected to attend.
