LEWIS AND CLARK:
THE NATIONAL BICENTENNIAL EXHIBIT

This event brings together—for the first time since 1806—hundreds of rare artifacts and documents from the 1804 mission of the “Corps of Discovery,” led by U.S. Army captains Meriwether Lewis and William Clark.

The core of this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition is formed by artifacts, artwork, and documents entrusted to the Missouri Historical Society by the Clark and Lewis families in the early 20th century.

Period objects and art represent the equipment the explorers used, the landscapes they saw, and the Native American tribes they met.

Runs through Sept. 6, 2004

Historical Society Members: $6 adults; $5 ages 65 and over; $3 children ages 6 to 18

Non-members: $12 adults; $10 ages 65 and over; $6 children ages 6 to 18

Hours: 10 to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and Monday 10 to 8 p.m. Tuesday 10 to 5 p.m. Sunday (Summer hours may vary)
