GREAT RIVERS GREENWAY NAMES TWO NEW DIRECTORS
Great Rivers Greenway has announced that Robert Epstein and Monica Huddleston have been appointed to serve on the board of directors as representatives for St. Louis County.
Epstein is an attorney with Gallop, Johnson & Neuman LC who practices real estate, general business and environmental law.
Huddleston, who retired from Southwestern Bell in 2000 after a 25-year career, serves as treasurer for the board of directors of the St. Louis Regional Empowerment Zone on behalf of St. Louis County.
MASTERCARD NAMES FERRI GROUP EXECUTIVE OF ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE
MasterCard Worldwide has appointed Antonio “Tony” Ferri to the newly created position of group executive of enterprise architecture. He joined MasterCard after serving as a senior consultant at Dante Consulting.

ARCTURIS PRESIDENT RECEIVES TRAILBLAZER AWARD
Patricia Whitaker, founder and president of Arcturis, has received the 2009 Trailblazer Award from the St. Louis Forum. The award is presented annually to a woman who has blazed a trail for other women in business or charitable endeavors, the community and other areas.
ASHWORTH RECEIVES DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
The Thompson Foundation for Autism presented Ron Ashworth, chairman of Sisters of Mercy Health System, with the Distinguished Service Award at its annual gala.
The award recognizes individuals and/or entities who distinguish themselves in service to the cause of autism.

KENNEDY PICKED FOR BETHESDA HEALTH GROUP BOARD
Harry Kennedy has become a member of the Bethesda Health Group’s board of directors. Prior to his current position as legislative director for the president of the St. Louis Board of Alderman, Kennedy served in the Missouri House from 1997-2001 and in the Missouri Senate from 2001-2008.

SISTERS OF MERCY HEALTH SYSTEM’S NEW LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
The Sisters of Mercy Health System has restructured its executive leadership team to capitalize on existing expertise and to create a stronger sense of partnership across Mercy’s operations.
Mike McCurry has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. He joined Mercy in 1988 and since 2000 has held a variety of Mercy-wide positions that include president of the supply chain division and, most recently, chief information officer.
James R. Jaacks has been named executive vice president of finance. Jaacks joined Mercy in 1991 and has served as chief financial officer since 1999.
Randall J. Combs has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. Combs has served as a leader within Mercy for more than 22 years, most recently as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at St. John’s Mercy Health Care in St. Louis.
Kim Day has been named senior vice president–regional markets. Day joined Mercy as chief financial officer of the Springfield region in 2000 and was named president/CEO in 2005.
Denny DeNarvaez has been named senior vice president of regional markets. She will continue to serve as president/CEO of St. John’s Mercy Health Care in St. Louis and Washington, Mo., and also will assume executive oversight of the Oklahoma region.

MERCY HEALTH CARE ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP CHANGES
At St. John’s Mercy Health Care, Eric Eoloff has been named chief operating officer. Since 2006, he has served as vice president of support services with responsibilities for the lab, emergency department and urgent care clinics.
Cheryl Matejka has been named chief financial officer. She served as the vice president of finance since 2006.
John Howard has been named senior vice president of strategic development and general counsel. He joined St. John’s Mercy in 2001 as the director of corporate compliance and was named general counsel in 2003.

At UMB Financial, Dennis Triplett has been promoted to CEO of UMB Healthcare Services. He has been with UMB for 25 years, most recently as president of Healthcare Services for the past five years.

Debra Hollingsworth, vice president of external affairs at AT&T-Missouri, has been selected as the 2009 chair of the United Way of Greater St. Louis Women’s Leadership Giving Initiative. She has been a member of United Way’s Women’s Leadership Giving Initiative since 2001 and a member of the cabinet since 2006.

Gene Diederich has joined Moneta Group as CEO. He has 25 years of industry experience, most recently serving as director of the Eastern division of Wachovia Securities’ private client group.
BETHESDA HEALTH GROUP NAMES VOSSE CFO
Timothy L. Vosse has been elected corporate vice president and chief financial officer of Bethesda Health Group. He joined the organization in 1999 as assistant controller and took over as acting CFO in 2008.
