SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE’S 2009 AIR SHOW

The Canadian Snowbirds aerial demonstration team is set to fly in to headline Scott Air Force Base’s Air Show and will perform more than 50 different formations and maneuvers in their Canadair CT-114 Tutor aircraft.
They, along with the Army’s Golden Knights Parachute Team, will be among numerous aerial performances and static display aircraft planned for the annual event, which is free and open to the public.

Since the inaugural visit to Cleveland back in 1996—and subsequent RCGA Leadership Trips to Seattle, Baltimore, Denver, Toronto, Boston, San Diego, St. Louis, Atlanta, Minneapolis-St. Paul and, most recently, Chicago last September—the Leadership Trip has been a civic “best practices” experience that seeks to learn from the experiences of other regions, while facilitating peer-to-peer networking among and between St. Louis leaders and leaders in other metropolitan areas, and nurturing a regional community here.
