Greenbaum
Appointed to World Agricultural Forum Board of Advisors

Stuart Greenbaum, dean of the Olin School of Business at Washington
University, has been appointed to the board of advisors for the
World Agricultural Forum.
The World Agricultural Forum (WAF) based in St. Louis has appointed
Stuart Greenbaum to its board of advisors. Greenbaum is dean
of the John M. Olin School of Business and Bank of America Professor
at Washington University in St. Louis.
Established in 1997, the World Agricultural Forum is an independent
organization providing open discussion about providing food, fiber
and fuel for people around the world. It serves as an ongoing forum
for world leaders in industry, government, academia, non-governmental
organizations, and international governmental organizations. Through
research, communications and a biennial World Congress, the WAF
brings together experts from all sectors responsible for providing
for the world’s population. Currently, John Danforth is chairman
of the WAF advisory board and Leonard Guarraia, is chairman and
president of the Board of directors.
Greenbaum has been dean of the Olin School of Business at Washington
University since July 1995 and was named the Bank of America Professor
of Managerial Leadership in July 2000.
Before joining the Olin School, Greenbaum spent 20 years at the
Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University
where he was the Director of the Banking Research Center and the
Norman Strunk Distinguished Professor of Financial Institutions.
From 1988 to 1992, he served as Kellogg’s Associate Dean for Academic
Affairs. Before Northwestern, Greenbaum served as Chairman of the
Economics Department at the University of Kentucky, and on the staffs
of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve.
Cloar Named President of Downtown Saint Louis Partnership
The Downtown Saint Louis Partnership selected James Cloar
as its new president and CEO. He assumed his new position in St.
Louis in December 2001.
Since 1992, Cloar has been president of the Tampa Downtown Partnership.
He has been a consultant or advisor to more than 40 cities in the
U.S. and Europe. Cloar’s accomplishments in Tampa include assembling
land and commissioned pre-development studies for the Ice Palace;
establishing the Downtown special assessment district; positioning
the Tampa Downtown Partnership as a transportation management organization;
developing Lykes Gaslight Square; and facilitating a “choice” elementary
school in downtown.
Poscover Named Chair of ABA Board of Governors
Maury Poscover of Husch & Eppen-berger LLC has been named
chair of the operations and communications committee of the American
Bar Association’s (ABA) Board of Governors. He has been a member
of the ABA Board of Governors for two years.
Poscover joined Husch & Eppenberger in 1969 and now serves on the
firm’s management committee. He is also a member of the firm’s Land
Use Development and Financing and Business Practice groups.
Doe Run Names Chief Administrator and COO
The Doe Run
Company has named Jerry Pyatt as chief operating officer
(COO) and appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Marvin Kaiser
to the additional post of chief administrative officer. Based in
St. Louis, Doe Run focuses on mining, recycling and fabrication
of base metals.
As COO, Pyatt is responsible for all mining, smelting, fabrication
and recycling operations for Doe Run in the U.S. He joined the company
in 1991 as a metallurgical engineer. He moved to general manager
of the Resource Recycling Division in 1996 and assumed additional
responsibilities in 1998 as president of Fabricated Products Inc.,
a wholly owned subsidiary of Doe Run. Two years ago, Pyatt became
vice president of Secondary Smelting.
Kaiser joined Doe Run in 2001 as vice president of finance and CFO.
He has 24 years of management experience in the mining industry.
Previously, Kaiser served as vice president and CFO of Amax Gold
Inc. in Colorado.
Zornes Joins Trammell Crow as Area Director of Global Services

Jeffrey Zornes has joined Trammell Crow Company as the Area
Director of Global Services in St. Louis. Zornes’ appointment to
this newly created position is part of a Trammell Crow reorganization,
which repositions the firm’s offices throughout the U.S. and Canada
into 14 “mega markets.”
The new structure consolidates all of the property and facility
management, brokerage and project management services under a single
leadership infrastructure known as Global Services. A second operational
division, the Development and Investment Group, will handle all
real estate development and investment activities. Mark Branstetter,
principal in the St. Louis office, leads these efforts locally.
Zornes comes to Trammell Crow from Foreman Zornes Inc., a firm he
founded in 1996. Zornes served as president of this diversified
holding company, which specializes in real estate, outdoor advertising
and other related service businesses. Prior to owning his own company,
Zornes was president of Kohner Properties’ Realty Division. He also
gained experience in the Investment Division at Turley Martin, now
Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, and as a commercial broker for Collier
Thorton.
